Matthew Rodrigues

Matthew Rodrigues has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew is currently working as a Field Application Scientist at RareCyte, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Luminex Corporation as an Instrument Field Application Scientist from April 2020 to February 2023, and as a Scientist II from January 2019 to April 2020. Before joining Luminex, Matthew worked as a Research Scientist at MilliporeSigma from August 2016 to December 2018. Matthew also served as a Radiation Officer at Health Canada | Santé Canada from September 2015 to July 2016, and as a Radiation Biology Consultant at Amnis Corporation from June 2015 to January 2016. Matthew started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Carleton University from January 2011 to May 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Analyst at International Safety Research from July 2008 to October 2010 and as a Graduate Assistant at Ryerson University from September 2006 to July 2008.

Matthew Rodrigues completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Applied Physics from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne in the years 2001 to 2006. Matthew then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Physics at Ryerson University from 2006 to 2008. Finally, Matthew earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Physics, Radiobiology from Carleton University between the years 2011 and 2015.
