Scott Powell is a dynamic leader with extensive cross-functional experience in IT, operations, and general management, currently serving as Vice President of Technology & Innovation at RareMed Solutions since July 2024. Previously, Scott held the position of Healthcare Consultant at The Jacobson Group and served as both CEO and COO at Quick Med Claims, LLC. With a strong background at UnitedHealth Group, Scott has directed various operations, including overseeing Medicare transaction processing and leading significant culture and operational changes that resulted in improved performance metrics and employee engagement. Scott's career began at The Prudential Insurance Company of America, where multiple roles contributed to expertise in healthcare claims processing and project management. A graduate of Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Scott is recognized for driving accountability, fostering relationships, and managing partnerships effectively.
