Ekaterina Shiryaeva has a diverse work experience in analytics and data engineering roles. Ekaterina Shiryaeva pursued their education in a well-rounded manner, with a focus on both mathematics and informatics. From 2002 to 2008, they attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT), where they earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics. During the same period, from 2006 to 2008, they also studied at the Higher School of Economics, obtaining a second Master's degree in Business Informatics.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Ekaterina Shiryaeva has pursued further professional development by obtaining certifications. In September 2020, they received a certification as a Big Data Professional from Newprolab. Most recently, in December 2021, they completed the PRO: Programming using Python certification program offered by BigDataTeam.
