Ekaterina Shiryaeva

Ekaterina Shiryaeva has a diverse work experience in analytics and data engineering roles. Ekaterina is currently working as a Product Analytics Lead at Rarible, where they have created internal reporting and led the implementation of custom events for improved tracking and analysis of user engagement. Ekaterina utilizes Python, PowerBI, NFT, and blockchain technology to drive data insights.

Prior to their current role, Ekaterina worked at Rosbank as the Head of Analytics, Modelling, and Reporting. During their time there, they built the data function from scratch and led various teams in data engineering, analytics, and ML engineering. Ekaterina implemented KPIs, developed data strategies, and led projects such as personalized financial advice and gamification to engage clients in the mobile app. Ekaterina'stech stack included Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, PowerBI, Hive, HBase, Spark, Python, and Airflow.

Before Rosbank, Ekaterina worked in Recovery Analytics, where they built the analytical function from scratch, implemented new recovery and analytical systems for multiple banks, and developed operational and analytical reports.

Ekaterina Shiryaeva pursued their education in a well-rounded manner, with a focus on both mathematics and informatics. From 2002 to 2008, they attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT), where they earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics. During the same period, from 2006 to 2008, they also studied at the Higher School of Economics, obtaining a second Master's degree in Business Informatics.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Ekaterina Shiryaeva has pursued further professional development by obtaining certifications. In September 2020, they received a certification as a Big Data Professional from Newprolab. Most recently, in December 2021, they completed the PRO: Programming using Python certification program offered by BigDataTeam.
