Aideen Neylon

Aideen Neylon is the Head of Legal at the Veterinary Council of Ireland since August 2014 and has held various leadership positions in regulatory and legal committees, including Chairperson of the Appeal Committee for Rásaíocht Con Éireann / Greyhound Racing Ireland and Board Member at The PSA Ireland. Additionally, Aideen is a Member of the Fitness to Practise Committee for the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and serves on the Bookmakers Appeal Committee for Horse Racing Ireland. Aideen’s legal expertise is further demonstrated through previous roles, including Solicitor at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Aideen holds multiple qualifications, including a Professional Diploma in Professional Regulation from University College Dublin, a Certificate in Data Protection from IPA Ireland, an LL.M. in Commercial Law, and a Bachelor of Civil Law, alongside a Diploma in Judicial Skills and Decision-making from the Law Society of Ireland.
