Philip Colligan

Philip Colligan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Philip currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a role they have held since July 2015. In addition, they are also a Director at Raspberry Pi since May 2018.

Before joining Raspberry Pi, Colligan held positions at various organizations. Philip was a Non-Executive Director at Stepping Out from March 2012 to October 2015. At Nesta, they served as the Deputy Chief Executive from February 2014 to July 2015 and as the Executive Director of the Innovation Lab from May 2010 to July 2015. Philip was also a Non-Executive Director at the Behavioural Insights Team from February 2014 to July 2015.

Colligan's earlier roles include serving as an Adviser on Social Innovation at the Cabinet Office from March 2013 to March 2015. At the London Borough of Camden, they held multiple positions, including Assistant Director of Regeneration and Partnerships from July 2009 to May 2010, Deputy Director of Housing and Adult Social Care from October 2007 to July 2009, and Assistant Chief Executive from July 2004 to October 2007.

Prior to their roles at the London Borough of Camden, Colligan worked at The Home Office. Philip'spositions there included Head of the Race Equality and Community Cohesion Strategy Team from January 2004 to July 2004, Head of Group Secretariat and Change Team from November 2002 to January 2004, Private Secretary from June 2001 to November 2002, Financial Advisor from March 2001 to June 2001, Programme Manager (HR) from June 2000 to March 2001, and Senior Policy Advisor from March 1998 to June 2000.

Philip Colligan attended the University of Liverpool from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a LLB degree in Law. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including "Having Career Conversations with Your Team," "Inclusive Mindset for Committed Allies," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "Creativity at Work: A Short Course from Seth Godin," "Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making," "Daniel Pink on Motivation," and "Leading Your Org on a Journey of Allyship."
