Vinay Varma

Vinay Varma is the SVP & GM of AirGain at RateGain. Vinay has over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on the travel industry.

Varma began their career as a Marketing and Communications Trainee with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation in Madrid, Spain. Vinay then spent three years as Marketing Manager for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where they were responsible for bidding on and managing multinational accounts.

In 2006, Varma joined Jet Airways as Sales Manager for India. In this role, they were responsible for corporate sales, contracting, and loyalty marketing. Vinay was later promoted to Regional Manager for the United States of America.

In 2014, Varma joined AirGain as SVP & GM. AirGain is a global provider of fare intelligence and market data solutions for the travel industry.

Vinay Varma has an MBA in Marketing Communications from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune, India. Vinay also has a Masters of Commerce from Rajiv Gandhi University in India and a certificate in Communications Management from the United Nations International School in Madrid, Spain. In addition, they have various marketing and project management certificates from Humber College in Toronto, Canada, as well as certifications in customer experience, digital transformation, and Google Analytics from LinkedIn.

Vinay Varma reports to Bhanu Chopra, Chairman & Managing Director. They work with Chinmai Sharma - President, Americas, Mark Skroch - President, BCV, and Shobhit Agrawal - SVP, Distribution, Engineering.
