Fiona Anderson

Fiona Anderson has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Fiona currently holds the position of Head of People Business Partnering at Rathbones Group Plc since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a People Business Partner at Rathbone Group Plc from November 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Rathbones Group Plc, Fiona worked at abrdn for a significant period of time. Fiona served as the People and Transformation Manager from June 2018 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive People Strategy for the audit function, focusing on cultural change, employee engagement, leadership development, and talent management. Fiona played a vital role in leading the company through the challenges of remote working during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to this, they served as an HR Business Partner from June 2013 to June 2018 and also took on a role as a Learning Consultant for a brief period from December 2012 to June 2013.

Before joining abrdn, Fiona worked at Aegon UK as an HR Consultant from June 2000 to May 2008. In this role, they collaborated with senior leadership teams to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals. One of their notable achievements was leading the organizational redesign of the Customer Services Function, resulting in significant cost savings through FTE reduction and process improvements.

Fiona's career started at REED, where they worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant from October 1996 to June 2000.
