Niraj Shah, CFA, MA(Cantab) has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Niraj currently holds the role of Fund & Investment Trust Research & Structured Products Lead at Rathbones Group Plc, where they are responsible for collectives research and structured products origination. Niraj also provides secondary coverage and input across various asset classes and investment strategies. Prior to joining Rathbones, Niraj held positions as a Board Trustee & Investment Committee Chair at the Stroke Association and as Founder & Strategic Advisor at a Private Investment Office. Niraj has also served as a School Governor at Howard Primary School. Their previous roles include Director & Fund Manager at MENA Capital, Head of Market Risk at National Employment Savings Trust, Investment Manager | Head of Structured Products & Alternative Strategies at Nikko Asset Management, Head of Structured Investment Products at Arab Bank, and Head of Structured Products at UBS Wealth Management. Niraj started their career as an M&A + LBO Corporate Finance Analyst at DONALDSON LUFKINS & JENRETTE INT + CREDIT SUISSE in 2000.

Niraj Shah, CFA, MA(Cantab) completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Management Studies & Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they studied Pure Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics at Oshwal Academy from 1990 to 1995, obtaining A and S Levels. In addition to their academic achievements, they also hold the CFA Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute, which they obtained in September 2004. Furthermore, they earned the MA(Cantab) designation from the University of Cambridge in June 2000.
