Simon Aplin

Simon Aplin has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Simon currently serves as the Head of Compliance Monitoring and Assurance at Rathbones Group Plc since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Deputy Head of Compliance at the same company from November 2018 to July 2020.

Before joining Rathbones Group Plc, Simon worked at KPMG from 2008 to 2018. Simon started as an Assistant Manager in September 2008 and was promoted to Manager in October 2013. Earlier in their career, Simon worked at Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club from October 2000 to September 2008. Simon began as the Deputy Managing Secretary and later served as the Acting Managing Secretary. In this role, they were responsible for the overall management of the club, including planning and running international golf events in collaboration with organizations such as the R&A and PGA.
