Amilcar Rey

Amilcar Rey has a diverse range of work experience in the software development and technology field. Amilcar began their career as a Technical Support Helpdesk at Editorial ACES in 2016, where they focused on helpdesk, network survey, and equipment maintenance. In 2017, they worked as a Developer at Universidad Adventista del Plata.

Amilcar then joined Universidad Adventista del Plata again in 2018 as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for requirement analysis, technology definition, and writing user stories.

Amilcar then transitioned to a role as a Full Stack Engineer at Editorial ACES in 2019, where they were involved in requirements analysis, architecture redesign, and migration to Azure.

In 2021, Amilcar worked as a Software Engineer at Analyticalways, primarily focusing on software development. Amilcar also became a Web Development Teacher at Universidad Adventista del Plata in the same year.

Amilcar's most recent role was as a Web3 Engineer at Junyard Dogs House from 2021 to 2023. This role involved analysis, design, and development of new features for decentralized applications, as well as developing and testing smart contracts.

Currently, they are working as a Backend Developer at Rather Labs, Inc since 2023.

Amilcar Rey studied at Universidad Adventista del Plata from 2013 to 2019, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería en Sistemas with a specialization in Ingeniería de sistemas. During this time, from 2013 to 2017, they also completed a Licenciado en Sistemas de Información, focusing on Tecnología informática and Tecnología de sistemas informáticos. Additionally, they obtained a certification in OpenHack: DevOps from Microsoft OpenHack in June 2021. In December 2020, they completed a certification in .NET Core avanzado through LinkedIn. Other certifications they acquired include Almacenamiento en Azure, Azure IAAS, Fundamentos De Docker, Curso Básico de Vue.Js, Curso de Svelte, SQL Azure, Web Apps y Logic Apps en Azure, Curso Tailwind CSS, Intro to Data and Data Science, Curso Profesional de JavaScript, and Fundamentos De C# con .Net Core. These certifications were obtained from various platforms such as Platzi, 365 Data Science, and CódigoFacilito, with completion dates ranging from February 2020 to July 2021.
