Project Manager at Rather Labs

Gaston Michel has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gaston started their career as a Structural Engineering Intern at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires in 2010. Then, they worked as a Bachelor Tuition Scholarship recipient at Roberto Rocca Education Program from 2009 to 2011. Gaston joined CNEA in 2011 and served as a Bachelor Full Scholarship recipient until 2014. At CNEA, they held various positions, including Mechanical Design Engineer in the Department of Composites Materials Technologies and Mechanical Design Engineer on Project CAREM25. In these roles, Gaston was involved in the design and fabrication of COVID19 test booths, modifications to a Filament Winding Machine, and the engineering of reactor internals disassembler machines and support structures.

In 2020, Gaston transitioned to celeri, where they worked as a Software Developer, primarily focusing on full-stack development of a bank's internal tool and integration of Google Drive and Docs API for automation. As Head of DevOps, which was their subsequent role at celeri, they contributed to the design and implementation of Cloud Infrastructure in AWS, migration from DigitalOcean of a Kubernetes cluster, and the implementation of AWS Lambda uploader tool and Lambda Layers.

In 2022, Gaston joined Rather Labs, Inc as a Project Manager and Team Leader. At Rather Labs, Inc, they are responsible for project management and leading a team. Additionally, in the same year, Gaston also started working as a Project Manager and Software QA Team Leader at Membrane.

Gaston Michel pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Starting in 2008, they attended the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2011. Gaston then proceeded to further their studies at the Instituto Balseiro, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2014. Gaston Michel's educational journey culminated with the completion of their Master of Science in Engineering degree at the Instituto Balseiro in 2020.
