Julia Schertzer has a diverse range of work experience. Julia most recently worked as a User Research Lead at Ratio.City starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Washington, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Julia also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography (Urban Systems) from McGill University, which they obtained between 2011 and 2014.

In addition to their academic degrees, Julia has acquired several certifications. Julia obtained the CSS Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in April 2022, along with the Miro for UX: Brainstorming and Collaboration and UX Research: Journey Mapping certifications. Furthermore, Julia is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), which they achieved in November 2016. Julia also holds a Licensed Behavior Analyst certification from the Washington State Department of Health, obtained in July 2017.
