Job Overview:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Rattle, you will play a crucial role in generating qualified leads and creating top-of-funnel sales pipeline. You will be the first point of contact sales prospects speak to and will play a key role in building revenue for Rattle.  You will use intent-based data to prioritize and tailor your outreach to prospects, leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Qualified, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools combined with digital selling techniques to craft targeted messaging to effectively communicate our value proposition. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify prospects and decision-makers within target companies
  • Use written and verbal communication (via phone, email, social media, in-person event) to reach out and set up meetings for the sales team
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize the lead generation and conversion processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system
  • Continuously improve your sales skills and knowledge of our products and industry trends
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity and change, and a passion for helping build Rattle's vision

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
  • Hybrid role 2-3 days a week from a home office and 2-3 days a week from a downtown San Francisco office (BART friendly)
