Sami Eronen

Sami Eronen is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the construction and steel industries. Currently serving as President of Ruukki Construction since December 2016, Eronen has held various leadership roles at SSAB AB, including SVP of Supply Chain Management & IT and SVP of Hot Rolled and Tubular Products from September 2014 to November 2016. Prior to that, Eronen served as SVP of Flat Steels and held multiple senior vice president roles at Rautaruukki Oyj from August 2003 to August 2014. Eronen's career began at Rautaruukki Oyj / Metform, focusing on foundation construction and sales management. Additionally, Eronen worked as a Research Scientist in Foundation Engineering at Tampere University of Technology. Eronen holds a Licentiate of Technology and a Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
