Philip Clarkson

Chief Scientist at Ravelin

Philip Clarkson has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Philip began their career in 1999 as a Speech Scientist at ScanSoft (formerly SpeechWorks). In 2004, they assumed the role of Head of Human Factors at Vox Generation. Two years later, they moved to BNP Paribas as a Quantitative Analyst. In 2009, they joined Google as a Statistician. In 2013, they were appointed Director of Data Science at Hailo. Most recently, in 2020, they were named Chief Scientist at Ravelin Technology.

Philip Clarkson attended the University of Cambridge from 1991 to 1999, where they earned a BA, MPhil, and PhD in Mathematics and Computer Speech Recognition.
