Nigel Newman

Nigel Newman has over 25 years of experience in the housing industry. Nigel started their career in 1995 as a Senior Housing Officer at Airways Housing Society. From 1998 to 2009, they worked at Thames Valley Housing Association, where they served as the Head of Housing. In 2009, they joined Raven Housing Trust as the Director of Operations, responsible for asset and facilities management, customer service, income management, and community investment. Nigel later became the Director of Strategy and Growth in 2018. Additionally, Nigel served as a Non-Executive Director at Inquilab Housing Association Limited from 2014 to 2019.

Nigel Newman completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Brighton in 1989. Nigel then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing and Human Environments from Newcastle University in 1991. Later, in 2004, they completed their education with a Master's degree in Housing and Human Environments from Sheffield Hallam University.
