Yuri Sneyders

Yuri Sneyders is a highly experienced engineer specializing in algorithm development and mathematical modeling, particularly in the fields of controls, automation, robotics, navigation, computer vision, and machine learning for autonomous vehicles. Currently serving as a Staff Research Engineer at Raven Industries since March 2017, Yuri's previous roles include Senior R&D Engineer at Egemin Automation, and Senior Software Developer at Raven Industries. Additionally, Yuri was the R&D Manager at Navtronics BVBA, involved in developing software for GPS automatic guidance systems, and held managerial positions at Technicolor and Thomson Telecom. With a strong academic background, including Master's degrees in Physics and Electronic Engineering from Ghent University and HOGENT respectively, Yuri has made significant contributions to research in medical imaging and automation systems, backed by multiple scientific publications.
