Javier López Sierra has worked for a variety of companies since 2016. Javier began their career at UC Santa Barbara as a Content Writer/Translator-Interpreter (English-Spanish). In 2017, they took on multiple roles, including Spanish Tutor at Central College, English Homeroom Teacher at Madison Bilingual School (Intl. Baccalaureate), and Administrative at SÜDKURIER GmbH Medienhaus. In 2018, they became a Research Assistant in the Linguistics Department at Universität Konstanz. In 2019, they took on the role of Translation Project Manager at Avira. In 2020, they began their current role as Senior Editorial Research Analyst at RavenPack, where they are responsible for developing and enhancing linguistic features of the system by devising and applying patterns according to syntactic, grammatical and semantic rules of the language.
Javier López Sierra has a diverse educational background. Javier attended the University of California from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a degree in English Studies with a focus in English and Linguistics. From 2015 to 2016, they attended UC Santa Barbara, studying English and Linguistics. Javier then attended the University of Konstanz from 2016 to 2017, studying English and Linguistics. Finally, they completed a Master's in Speech and Language Processing at the University of Konstanz from 2018 to 2020.
