Øyvin Halfdan Thuv

Øyvin Halfdan Thuv has a long and varied work experience. Øyvin Halfdan began their professional career in 1999 as a Private/Trumpeter with Øyvin Halfdan'sMajesty the King's Guard, performing at tattoo drills in Norway, Sweden and Finland. In 2000, they became a Help-Desk Consultant with Nextra AS, helping people set up ASDL, mail accounts, and debugging internet connections. In 2004, they became an Independent Consultant. From 2006 to 2011, they were the Co-Founder of the NTNU Mac Users Group, setting up the infrastructure needed to get a group of students up-and-going to develop and doodle with Apple products. From 2007 to 2008, they worked at CERN as a Technical Student in Search Engine Development, working on the CERN wide search project. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Senior Systems Developer at PowerOffice. From 2011 to 2015, they held various roles at WhiteFox AS, including Board Member, Chairman of the Board, CTO, and Systems Architect. Finally, from 2015 to 2021, they were an Assistant Professor at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Currently, they are a Senior Lisp Developer at RavenPack.

Øyvin Halfdan Thuv completed their M. Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their B. Sc. in Computer Science from the same institution between 2002 and 2005. In 2013, they obtained an Enonic Certified Developer certification from Enonic AS in Oslo.
