Kjartan Freyr Jónsson

Kjartan Freyr Jónsson has extensive experience in corporate finance and financial management. Kjartan Freyr currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Raw Fury since November 2017, where they oversee the company's financial growth and maintains relationships with indie game developers. Kjartan Freyr joined Furious Horizon as their Chief Financial Officer in August 2021. Prior to this, Kjartan worked as an Independent Corporate Finance Advisor at Corporate Finance, providing advisory services to Icelandic companies and Swedish investors from April 2015 to November 2017. Kjartan Freyr also served as a Director of Corporate Finance at H.F. Securities from July 2009 to April 2015, where they played a key role in establishing and managing the corporate finance department. Additionally, Kjartan was a Project Manager at Keldan ehf from August 2009 to August 2010. Kjartan Freyr started their career at SPRON in February 2007 as the Head of Trading, responsible for leading a profitable department engaged in trading equities, bonds, and derivatives. Prior to that, Kjartan worked at Endurskodun og radgjof from September 2004 to February 2007, where they prepared financial statements for small and medium-sized firms and provided consulting services related to incorporation, taxes, and general business matters.

Kjartan Freyr Jónsson began their education in 2001 at Háskóli Íslands, where they studied Business for a period of two years until 2003. Kjartan Freyr then enrolled at Bifröst University from 2003 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. Kjartan spent a brief period in 2004 as an exchange student at Shanghai University, specifically focusing on corporate law. In 2008, they obtained a certification as a Certified securities broker in Iceland.
