Jennifer Chun Strawn

Jennifer Chun Strawn is Of Counsel in Rawle & Henderson’s Blue Bell office. She handles matters in the practice areas related to insurance coverage, premises liability, motor vehicle liability and other general liability matters.

Ms. Strawn represents clients in legal matters involving third party liability insurance, for-profit and non-profit management, breach of contract and general negligence. She defends insurance carriers in casualty matters and subrogation cases providing appellate advocacy on liability and workers’ compensation issues.

After graduating from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Law, Ms. Strawn clerked for the Honorable Bernard J. Goodheart of the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County. Before joining Rawle & Henderson, Ms. Strawn worked for several Philadelphia area insurance defense firms, representing clients in workers’ compensation, products liability, and civil liability matters. Serving also as a former staff attorney for a national, personal lines insurer, Ms. Strawn has deep experience with litigation concerns and business practices from the insurer/client perspective, and has provided counsel to insurers regarding coverage disputes. Additionally, Ms. Strawn has served as a general counsel and advisor to educational institutions and charter schools and represented them in special education litigation matters.

Ms. Strawn successfully participated in representation of the appellee before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in Six L’s Packing v. Workers’ Compensation Board (Williamson), 44 A.3d 1148 (Pa. 2012), pertaining to statutory employers under Section 302(a) of the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act.
