Matthew Stearns, M.Ed., is an experienced mathematics educator currently serving at Rawson Saunders School since May 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew taught middle school mathematics at IDEA Public Schools from June 2021 to May 2022 and worked as a mathematics teacher at Weil Tennis Academy from December 2019 to May 2021. Matthew's earlier professional experience includes roles in food service as a caterer at STONEFIRE Grill and a server at Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as positions in purchasing and project coordination at Blue Microphones and Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. Matthew began a foundational career in food service at Sodexo and logistics at FedEx Ground. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the same institution, with ongoing studies towards a Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing at Western Governors University.
