Their most recent role was as the Chief Operating Officer at Ray Stone Incorporated, where they currently work. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Director of Resident Services and Leasing at Mynd, and also served as the Director of Operations at the same company. Before their time at Mynd, Candice worked at Invitation Homes as the Director of Property Management, providing national support to all markets. Their earlier experience includes being a Regional Property Manager at The Natoma Company, a Realtor at Century 21, and a Leasing Specialist at Indigo Property Management. Throughout their career, Candice has demonstrated skills in leadership, operations management, training and coaching, budgeting, project management, employee hiring, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Candice Burney, Ph.D. completed their education in Industrial Organizational Psychology at the University of Phoenix, receiving their Ph.D. degree between 2012 and 2019. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications. In 2002, they obtained a Real Estate Sales Person License from the California Department of Real Estate. In 2009, they obtained a Rental Housing Inspection Compliance certification from Sacramento County. Moving forward in their career, they became an SIOP Elected Member in 2013 at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). In 2017, they obtained a MBTI® Certified (Meyers Briggs Type Indicator) certification from CPP, Inc. Lastly, in 2020, they obtained a Leadership and Success Certification from The National Society of Leadership and Success.
