Amit Chavan

Amit Chavan has a diverse work experience in various logistics and supply chain roles. Amit started their career at Girnar Tea as an Executive Exports, where they provided operational support and guidance for import and export compliance. Amit then moved on to USV PRIVATE LIMITED, where they served as an Officer Supply Chain, managing end-to-end supply chain activities and driving efficiency. After that, Amit worked at Gala Precision Engineering Pvt. Ltd. as an Assistant Manager Logistics, where they provided strategic leadership in logistics and supply planning and set up a warehousing project in Thailand. Amit then joined Amrut Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. as a Manager Export-Import & Overseas Operations, leading business growth through strategic initiatives and participation in international exhibitions. Currently, they are the Head of Logistics at Raychem RPG (P) Ltd., overseeing import and export activities and analyzing associated metrics to improve operations.

Amit Chavan completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Mumbai University in Mumbai, where they studied commerce from 1993 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Import-Export Management, specializing in International Business/Trade/Commerce, at the Indian Merchant's Chamber in Mumbai from 1999 to 2000.
