Project Engineer at RayGen

Joel Ibrahim has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Supervisor at Seabreeze Cafe until 2011. In 2011, they became an Assistant Manager at Parkdale Charcoal Chicken and held the position until 2019.

In 2015, Joel ventured into entrepreneurship and founded their own catering service, Spit Bros Catering, which they managed until 2019. Following this, in 2017, they worked as an Electrical & Chassis Engineer at GM Holden for a year.

From 2018 to 2019, Joel also worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Founder at Precious Plastic Monash. Additionally, from 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at AECOM.

Joel's next career move was co-founding Sauvignon Blonde in 2020. Joel served as a Co-Founder until 2021. In the same year, they joined Graphite Energy Pty Ltd as a Project Engineer and continued in this role until 2023.

Joel's most recent work experience is with JETCON Pty Ltd, where they started as a Project Manager in 2020 and later became a Senior Project Manager in 2022. Currently, they are working at RayGen as a Project Engineer, starting in 2023.

Joel Ibrahim completed their Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) degree with a specialization in Project Management from Monash University between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended Mentone Grammar from 2000 to 2013, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or pursued a particular field of study at that institution.

In addition to their formal education, Joel Ibrahim obtained a certification as an Advanced Boiler Operator from AITAC Australian Industrial Trainers, Assessors & Consultants in October 2021.
