Jamie Coulter

Jamie Coulter has more than two decades of experience with Raymond James, having started with the firm in 1995 as a financial advisor trainee. He moved into investment banking and worked within that department until 2004, with primary coverage responsibility for the diversified industries sector. After a brief stint away from the firm, he returned to Raymond James as General Manager, Equity Capital Markets, and held the position for approximately 9 years. As GM, he was responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of our Canadian Capital Markets group in conjunction with the other Capital Markets department heads.

From 2014 to 2019, Jamie was the branch manager for the downtown Toronto Private Client Group complex, home to 31 practices managing about $4.0 billion in client assets.

In December 2019, he assumed the role of Executive Vice President, Head of Wealth Management at Raymond James. He became Chief Executive Officer for Raymond James Ltd in January 2022.

Married for 20+ years, Jamie is the proud father of his daughter, Alex, and son, Owen, both of whom are currently attending university. An active person, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, racing in triathlons and taking long walks with the family dog, Buddy.
