Tapajyoti Sarkar

Tapajyoti Sarkar has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Tapajyoti started their career in 1991 as an Executive in Finance & Accounts. Tapajyoti then worked at Linde (formerly BOC India Ltd) in various locations and roles, with their most recent position being Senior Executive in Finance & Commercial. In 2005, they joined Parker Hannifin as a Senior Manager in Finance & Accounts. Tapajyoti then moved on to IDEX INDIA, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Commercial Finance and Finance Director of Asia Commercial Operations. In 2020, they joined Hyva as the Regional Controller & Head of Finance, where they were responsible for driving financial performance improvement initiatives. Tapajyoti is currently the Head of Finance-International at Rayner, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Tapajyoti has gained expertise in financial management, strategic business partnering, working capital management, and vendor negotiation.

Tapajyoti Sarkar received a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with Honors in Accountancy from the University of Calcutta. This occurred between 1985 and 1988. After completing their undergraduate studies, Sarkar went on to attend the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1988 to 1997, where they obtained the degree of Fellow. Their field of study during this time included Advanced Accountancy, Management Accountancy, Direct Tax, Company Law, and Operations Research.

In addition to their formal education, Sarkar has acquired various certifications. In 2022, they obtained a certification as a Financial Analyst from TestDome. In 2021, they completed the Compliance Training Program offered by Hyva. In the same year, they also received a Certificate of training in Dip in IFRS (ACCA) from KPMG. Furthermore, in 2020, Sarkar completed a course titled "Work Smarter, Not Harder: Time Management for Personal & Professional Productivity" through Coursera.
