Zachary Dutton

Zachary Dutton is the Vice President of Defense Technology at RTX, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Zachary served as the Business Lead for Physical Sciences and Systems at RTX BBN from January 2018 to June 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of hardware and software for advanced prototype systems related to defense and intelligence. Prior to that, Zachary was a Lead Scientist at Raytheon BBN Technologies from September 2007 to June 2024, focusing on quantum information applications. Zachary's earlier experience includes working as a Research Physicist at the Naval Research Lab and as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Standards & Technology. Zachary holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Harvard University and a BA in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
