Kate Fowler

Kate Fowler has a strong and diverse work experience. Kate is currently the Head of Strategy at Raytheon UK, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the UK Ministry of Defence for several years in various roles, including Head of Strategy Defence Estate from April 2018 to September 2023, Hybrid Warfare Policy Team Lead from April 2017 to April 2018, Capability Strategy Assistant Head from January 2014 to April 2017, and Military Capability Analysis Assistant Head from January 2011 to January 2014. Kate also worked as a Principal Analyst at Dstl from January 2006 to January 2011. Before that, they worked in the publishing industry at Heinemann Publishing as a Senior Development Editor from November 2003 to January 2006, and at Hodder & Stoughton in different editorial roles, including Senior Editor from January 2003 to November 2003, Editor from January 2002 to January 2003, and Editorial Assistant from August 2001 to January 2002. Kate started their career as a Project Assistant at Wiltshire Wildlife Trust from October 2000 to August 2001.

Kate Fowler has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Zoology & Psychology from the University of Bristol. Kate also holds a Master's degree from the University of Nottingham. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Strategic Innovation Leader certification from PUBLIC in June 2023 and became a Full Member of the Association for Project Management in 2010.
