Steven Horton has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Steven is currently employed as a Scientist I at RayzeBio since February 2022. Prior to that, Steven worked at Boundless Bio from August 2020 to February 2022, where they held the role of Associate Scientist/Scientist I.

Before joining Boundless Bio, Steven gained valuable experience at Bristol Myers Squibb. Steven started their journey there as an Associate Research Scientist in August 2018 and was promoted to Associate Research Scientist II in June 2020. However, they left the company in July 2020.

Steven's early research experience is from their time at Keck Medicine of USC as a Research Lab Technician II. During their tenure from May 2017 to August 2018, they focused on studying the physiological mechanisms of lipoprotein-dependent fatty acid and HDL transport in the brain, particularly in relation to Alzheimer's Disease. Steven successfully managed an independent project exploring the role of APOE genotype in ABCA-1 induced omega-3 fatty acid metabolism and transport. Steven also published a project in AHA on triglyceride clearance by APOC-III isoforms in Diabetes.

Lastly, Steven has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego - Department of Biology for a period of six months from March 2016 to August 2016.

Steven Horton attended UC San Diego from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physiology & Neuroscience. Afterward, they pursued further education at UC San Diego from 2015 to 2016, completing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.
