Andrew Wales has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Andrew is currently working as a Technical Account Manager at RazorSecure since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from August 2021 to August 2022. In this role, they acted as an advocate for AWS's Enterprise Support customers and was a member of the Edge Services Technical Field Community.

Andrew's earlier work experience includes positions at Atos as a Principal Technical Support Specialist from July 2011 to August 2019, Siemens as a Principal Technical Support Specialist from October 2004 to July 2011, and BBC Technology as a Systems Administrator from September 2003 to October 2004. Andrew began their career at BBC Research & Development as a Systems Administrator, providing IT support for Sun workstations and servers from August 1998 to September 2003. Andrew also worked as a Systems Administrator at De La Rue, specializing in Sun Solaris, from November 1997 to August 1998.
Andrew Wales completed their BSc in Computer Science at The University of Sheffield from 1993 to 1997. Before that, they obtained their A Level qualifications from The Sheffield College between 1991 and 1993. Andrew'seducation journey began at Meadowhead School Academy Trust, where they completed their GCSEs from 1985 to 1991. Additionally, Andrew Wales has acquired several certifications, including PCEP - Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer from the Python Institute in November 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2022, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022.
