Melanie Redding

Melanie Redding has a lengthy career in the technology sector. Melanie began their career in 1991 as a Sales Executive at Fujitsu, where they exceeded sales targets and was eventually promoted to manage a team of Account Managers. In 1997, they moved to ITNET as an Account Director, where they were responsible for their top three public sector clients. In 2008, they joined Serco Solutions as a Sales and Marketing Manager, where they generated more than £20m of qualified pipeline within six months. Melanie then moved to Serco in 2011 as a Business Development Director and New Business Sales Manager, achieving £27m+ in new business in 10 months. In 2014, they founded JuMelia Ltd, where they provided consultancy projects across the Defence, Space & National Security sectors. In 2016, they became the Chair of the Board & Non Executive Director for RazorSecure, a cyber security company. In 2018, they took on the role of Global Director of Marketing for Chayora, an international infrastructure investor, developer and operator of major data centre campuses in China. In 2019, they became the Chair Of The Board Of Directors for Clutch Space Systems. Finally, in 2020, they became an Enterprise Adviser for The Careers & Enterprise Company, providing a link between education and business.

Melanie Redding attended Lancaster University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a BA (Hons) in French and Italian.
