Prior to R&B, Doug Rothgeb supported facility owners, developers, and organizations with utilizing technology to integrate and achieve high performing low-emission solutions. Doug has over twenty years’ experience with all aspects of buildings and manufacturing processes from engineering design to facilitates operations. He has led technical teams and business solutions within many industries to include semiconductor, government, industrial and commercial. Several well-known entities where he has held positions include Intel, Siemens, and the General Services Administration.
As an industry change agent, Doug has led open protocol smart building solutions in one of the largest integrations in the world and has contributed towards federal research labs/agencies to spur innovation through expert teams such as; Building to Grid Technology, Sensors and Controls, Better Building Program and the General Services Administration’s Green Proving Ground. Doug has contributed towards many articles and published energy studies for emerging technologies to drive innovation through market adoption.
Doug Rothgeb received a B.S. of Mechanical Engineering and B.S. of Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University. He achieved an MBA from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
