Daniel Fernandez

Daniel Fernandez is a Quality Assurance Engineer at RBC Bearings since May 2017. Previous experience includes a role as a Junior Design Engineer at Fugro, where Daniel created concepts and provided aftermarket support for subsea remote intervention equipment, and performed engineering stress analysis. An internship as a Marine Technician involved the setup and recovery of oceanographic equipment and assisting with seawater sample collection. Daniel also contributed to a Capstone Design Project as a Computer Vision Programmer, developing a MATLAB algorithm for real-time forest fire detection, and served as a Design Team Member for UC Merced Racing, focusing on the design and analysis of braking mechanisms. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced, and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de Lima.
