Kara Gustafson

Kara Gustafson currently serves as the Interim Head of U.S. Foundation & Corporate Citizenship at RBC Capital Markets, a position held since November 2024. Gustafson is also a Founding Board Member and Strategic Advisor at Finpublica since January 2023, providing guidance on strategic planning, growth, communications, and fundraising to promote Sustainable Finance and ESG goals. As the Founder and Principal of Palais Impact Advisors since January 2019, Gustafson delivers consultancy in sustainable corporate responsibility and social impact for a diverse range of organizations. Previous roles include Executive Director of the Finance Leaders Fellowship at The Aspen Institute from January 2021 to January 2023 and Head of Community Impact at SoulCycle Inc. from February 2018 to January 2019. Gustafson's career at Goldman Sachs spanned 15 years, culminating as Senior Vice President in the Executive Office focusing on Corporate Engagement. Academically, Gustafson holds a BA in English from Fairfield University and completed Executive Education in Corporate Sustainability Management at Yale School of Management.
