Umesh Gurav

Umesh Gurav has extensive experience in the field of cyber security, currently serving as Deputy CISO at RBL Bank since November 2024. Previously, Umesh held the position of Head IT Security at IndusInd Bank from September 2021 to October 2024 and acted as Chief Information Security Officer at NCDEX from August 2019 to April 2021. Umesh's career includes roles such as Senior Manager Information Security at the National Payments Corporation of India, Senior Security Consultant at Paladion Networks, and Manager at Morgan Stanley, where responsibilities included managing Blue Coat and F5 device infrastructure globally. Umesh's earlier roles span various positions in IT operations and network management, starting as a Technical Executive at In2cable India Ltd in 2002. Umesh holds an MBA in MIM from Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, completed between 2006 and 2008.
