Haley Noelle is a Bioengineering Doctoral Student at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, focusing on tissue engineering, specifically the development of 3D models of lungs for research on pulmonary fibrosis and drug discovery. As Chief Executive Officer of 3D Organic Polymer Silk, Haley leads initiatives to transform dragline proteins into a bio gel for 3D printing artificial spider silk for medical applications. Haley also served as Lead Researcher and Director of Research Development at the BioInnovation Group at UC Davis, overseeing numerous research projects and fostering academic opportunities. Prior experiences include working as an Emergency Medical Technician, Laboratory Research Assistant, and various mentoring roles aimed at supporting underprivileged students and facilitating relationships between medical students and undergraduates. Haley holds a PhD in Bioengineering and a BS in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from UC Davis.
