Michael Moores has been working in the IT industry since 2004. Michael began their career at Proximus as a Project Coordinator in 2004. In 2005, they worked as a Sybase Administrator at Sybase. In 2006, they were an Environment Manager at Vodafone. From 2007 to 2010, they were an Environment Manager at Thomson Reuters, where they built and maintained a small Data Center. In 2010, they were a Project Manager and Production Engineer at the European Commission, where they were responsible for Weblogic and OAS support and building and managing complete new failover environments. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Analyst/Technical Project Manager at the European Commission and as a Senior Software Engineer at ITS4U. In 2019, they began working at RCH Solutions as a Project Specialist.
Michael Moores has a long and varied educational history. Michael completed a Course on Management and Leadership at Open University in 2016, as well as a Course on Big Data at Open University in the same year. Michael also earned an Electronic Engineering degree from University of Portsmouth between 1996 and 2007. In 2006, they completed a course in Oracle DBA & Backup and Recovery at Oracle Reading and a Sybase Admin & Backup course at Sybase Zurich. From 1993 to 1996, they earned an Engineer's Degree in Software Engineering from Solent University. From 1992 to 1996, they studied Computing and System Analyst at Solent University. Michael also completed a High School HNC Computer Science course from Bournemouth & Poole FE from 1991 to 1993. Michael studied Computing at Bournemouth and Poole College from 1990 to 1992 and earned an HND Business Studies from the same institution from 1988 to 1990. Finally, they completed an Electrical Rules and Regulations (15th Addition) course at Bournemouth and Poole College in 1983.
