James Potter

James Potter is currently a board member at RCS EMPOWERS INC. Prior to that, they were with Rockline Industries for six years, serving as Division Controller and Assistant Controller. James started their career at Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Senior Auditor before moving to Semple, Marchal & Cooper LLP as a Staff Auditor. After that, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Cleveland Estes Avellone where they assisted in performing audits of employee benefit plans and local unions. James also prepared tax forms for employee benefit plans and local unions, and prepared financial statements for employee benefit plans and local unions. In their next role as Assurance Associate at BDO Seidman, LLP, they provided assurance services to clients in a variety of industries. And finally, before embarking on their professional career, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas.

James Potter earned their Master's degree in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. James then went on to earn their Masters in Accounting from University of Houston-Clear Lake. Finally, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
