Zachary Smith

Zachary Smith has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Zachary is currently employed as an Electrical Engineer at RCT Systems since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering from August 2017 to August 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at Eaton, including Sales Engineer and Division Sales Engineer, where they provided technical support, submitted product layouts, and created engineering drawings from August 2014 to August 2017. Zachary also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh under Dr. Gregory Reed and worked as a Lab Technician through a work-study program from May 2011 to April 2012. Zachary also had a Co-op position as an Engineering Student at Eaton Corporation from May 2012 to April 2014.

Zachary Smith completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh from 2010 to 2014. Zachary later pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same institution from 2017 to 2022.
