Jonathan Smegal

Jonathan Smegal is a highly experienced professional in building science, currently serving as a Senior Building Science Consultant and Senior Research Manager at RDH Building Science since November 2015. Responsibilities include conducting design reviews, forensic investigations, and hygrothermal modeling for both residential and commercial projects. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Associate and Building Scientist at Building Science Consulting Inc. and Building Science Corporation, where Jonathan coordinated research on heat flow and moisture damage in building assemblies. Jonathan began a career in building science as a Researcher at Balanced Solutions and holds a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo.
