Nick Beesley

Nick Beesley has work experience as a Chief Technical Safety Engineer at KCA Deutag Drilling Ltd, where they ensured the technical integrity of all RDS project work worldwide. Nick developed and maintained technical safety procedures and design guides, performed technical audits, and took on specialist roles on various projects. Prior to that, Beesley worked as a Chief Engineer at RDS Oil.

Nick Beesley completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organisational Psychology with a specialization in hazard and risk from Loughborough University in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Health and Safety and Environmental law from The University of Salford in 2004, and a Master's Degree in Process Safety from The University of Sheffield in 2001. Nick began their academic journey by completing an HNC in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Oxford Brookes University between 1974 and 1976.
