Tyler Maheu

Tyler Maheu has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Tyler worked at Raleigh-Durham International Airport as the Senior Director of Commercial Management, where they led various departments and implemented strategies to increase revenue and oversee concessions procurement. Prior to that, they were the Director of Commercial Management at the same airport, where they developed strategic plans and implemented new fee structures to boost revenue. Additionally, they worked at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport as the Manager of Business & Properties, where they managed teams and improved reporting processes. Tyler also served as the Ground Transportation Superintendent, overseeing commercial ground transportation operations and increasing revenue. Furthermore, they had administrative assistant roles in the Aviation Director's office and interned in various departments at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Tyler Maheu also worked as a Recruiter, Trainer, and Exercise Supervisor at PDS Tech, Inc., and as a Visual Observer for the Department of Homeland Security. Tyler started their career as an Airspace and Technology Intern at Alaska Airlines.

Tyler Maheu completed their education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science in 2010. Tyler later pursued a Master of Aeronautical Science degree with a specialization in Aviation/Aerospace Management, which they completed in 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tyler also obtained certifications as a Certified Member from AAAE in December 2015, and as a Commercial Pilot with Instrument, ASEL, and AMEL ratings from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2010.
