Carlos Rojas

Carlos Rojas is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at REA Group since April 2019, Carlos focuses on mentoring, coaching, and providing technical direction while addressing process inefficiencies. Previously, Carlos held the position of Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of microservices, web applications, and data pipelines using a diverse tech stack including Ruby, Typescript, and Scala. Prior to REA Group, Carlos worked at Bellroy as a Ruby Developer, specializing in e-commerce and logistics solutions, and at Ommm, enhancing a real-time taxi booking app. Carlos began the career as a Java Developer at Hiper S.A. and has experience in academia as a Java Instructor and Teaching Assistant. Carlos holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
