Surya Bhattarai is a Data Scientist at REA Group since March 2020, specializing in data engineering and analysis to enhance the accuracy of property price predictions through Automated Valuation Models. Prior to this, Surya served as a Sales & Marketing Data Analyst and Payment Assurance Analyst at nbn™ Australia from July 2013 to August 2019, providing analytical support for sales performance and managing billing processes. Earlier experience includes working as an Interconnect Billing Analyst at Optus from January 2011 to June 2013, focusing on financial settlements with national carriers. Surya holds a Bachelor in Business Information Systems from CQUniversity, a Diploma of Information Technology from Clarendon Business College, and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Spatial Science at the University of Newcastle and a program in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at the Institute of Data.
