Brenna Tessier

Brenna Tessier is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Counselling Intern currently gaining practical experience at Christina Janiga Psychotherapy while completing a 400-hour practicum through the Yorkville University MACP program. With a diverse background in mental health and education, Brenna has worked as a System Navigator and Behaviour Therapist at the ROCK Reach Out Centre for Kids, an Educational Assistant for Halton District School Board, and a Child and Family Counsellor at Nelson Youth Centres. Previous roles include Program Manager and Program Coordinator at Beechwood Brainery Inc., where Brenna developed curricula and facilitated ABA therapy, and Early Childhood Teacher roles at Woodland Children's Center and Thorold Cooperative Nursery School. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University, a post-graduate diploma in Mental Health and Disability Management from Mohawk College, and a Bachelor's in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University.
