While attending the University of Santa Barbara, California Benon started an independent record label and artist management company called CWC Entertainment. As a young entrepreneur, Benon saw the potential of the Internet and used it to successfully sell thousands of units and develop a “garage band” into a national touring act that sold out venues across the nation. His keen marketing sense and business skills also helped him secure endorsement deals for his clients with top national music brands such as GHS Strings, Goldtone, Washburn and Modulus. After graduating with a BA degree in Communications, Benon moved to Los Angeles and joined the The Doors Music Company which manages the careers of the surviving members of the legendary rock band “The Doors” and their multi-million dollar brand. As part of the company Benon worked directly with top management to seek out new online opportunities and helped increase brand awareness online while reaching out to a younger generation. Later in his career, Benon was introduced to David Hasselhoff and soon became a consultant for Hasselhoff’s online activities. While working with Hasselhoff, Benon increased online merchandise and memorabilia sales by 400% and helped develop and consolidate Hasselhoff’s tremendous online presence. After 2 years with Hasselhoff, Benon leveraged his 12 years of online marketing experience and knowledge to start Key Link Marketing, a boutique marketing firm specializing in email and search engine marketing. He quickly developed a client list of several prestigious companies in the Conejo Valley and created a system for his clients to build and develop their consumer databases and communicate with their customers. Benon met David and Adam of Reach Pros prior to the launch of BOGOPOD.com and immediately saw the value of it for both consumers and merchants. In July 2008 he joined forces with Reach Pros as a senior level consultant. Benon brings tremendous value to Reach Pros where he works on sales, PR, promotions, customer care, SEM, and social network strategies.
