Chris Perry

Chris Perry has a diverse work experience spanning from 1992 to the present. Chris currently works as the Chief Finance Officer at REAch2 Academy Trust since March 2018. Prior to this, they were the Financial Controller at Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board from June 2012 to February 2018. Chris had a brief role as the Interim Head of Finance at Diamond Box in April 2012. From September 2008 to March 2012, they were the Operations Director at 1st Option Group, where they managed various teams and provided HR support. Before that, they worked at Derby City Council as the Head of Income and External Payments from January 2005 to September 2008, where they also acted as a Project Manager. Chris served as the Divisional Head of Finance at Alexander Dennis from July 2003 to December 2004. Prior to that, they worked at Mayflower Corporation plc as the Controller of Business Improvement and Internal Audit from June 2002 to July 2003. Chris also held various roles at Mayflower Vehicle Systems from June 1999 to June 2002. Chris Perry started their career as an Assistant Administrator at Arthur Andersen from September 1992 to December 1994.

Chris Perry attended Handsworth Grammar School from 1985 to 1992. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. In 2005-2006, they pursued further education at the University of Derby and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, focusing on Business Administration. In addition to their academic qualifications, Chris Perry obtained the certification of Chartered Management Accountant from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in October 2000. Chris also became a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in June 1994.
