Jessica Sparrow

Jessica Sparrow has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Jessica began their career in 2001 as a Paralegal at Calhoun & Hunter, L.L.C., where they specialized in business/corporate transactions and also developed and administered websites. Jessica continued their work as a Paralegal at Halpern & Martin, LLC from 2006 to 2008, where they additionally took on network and computer systems administration responsibilities.

In 2008, Jessica transitioned to a role as a Paralegal at McGlinchey Stafford, focusing on administrative tasks related to legal work. Jessica then shifted their career path and became a Computer Information Systems Student in 2017, where they gained valuable technical skills.

Jessica's IT service career began in 2017 at Rabobank N.A. as an IT Service Desk Technician, progressively taking on more responsibilities and eventually becoming a Senior IT Service Desk Technician and Team Lead. Jessica continued their IT service work at Mechanics Bank, where they served as a Senior IT Service Desk Technician, Team Lead.

Currently, Jessica is working at NuAxis Innovations as a System Security Engineer Jr. and as a Desktop Support Technician.

Jessica Sparrow completed their education at two different institutions. From 2017 to 2018, they attended Allan Hancock College, where they studied Computer Science. Jessica then transferred to Santa Barbara City College from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences, with a focus on General studies.

In addition to their formal education, Jessica Sparrow has also obtained various certifications. Jessica completed the "SecOps Tool Landscape: The Kali Linux Security Platform" certification from Skillsoft in January 2023. In February 2019, they received certifications in "Agile Project Management Principles," "Being Positive at Work," and "Project Portfolio Management Foundations" from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in November 2018, they acquired certifications in several Windows Server 2016-related topics, including Hyper-V, DNS, High Availability, Installation and Configuration, Manage, Monitor, and Maintain Servers, and Storage Services, all from LinkedIn.
