Head Of Mechanical Engineering And Materials Science at Reaction Engines

Daniel Rincon has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Daniel started their career at Atos in 2011, where they worked as an FEA Analyst and Stress Engineer for various projects related to aircraft structures, such as the A330neo Wing FEM Team and A350XWB-900 S19 Type Certification. In 2015, they joined Hyde Group Engineering as a Stress Engineer in the AW189 Customization Team, focusing on analyzing the secondary structure of helicopters. In 2016, they moved to FERCHAU Engineering, where they worked as a Stress Engineer in the A350XWB-900 Structural Repair Manual (SRM) project. Finally, in 2021, they joined Reaction Engines as the Head of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, after serving as the Structures Team Leader and Senior Stress and Structures Engineer.

Daniel Rincon has a diverse education history with a focus on aerospace engineering and astronautics. From 2018 to 2021, they pursued an MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering at Cranfield University. Prior to that, they completed an MEng in Aerospace Engineering at Universidad de León from 2013 to 2014. In 2010 and 2011, Daniel worked on a dissertation related to BEng Aeronautical Engineering at Kingston University. Daniel began their educational journey at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Aero Engines and Propulsion systems.
